Derma Area Rural Bank Plc in the Ahafo Region is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented individual to fill the vacant position of microfinance field Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A minimum of HND/Diploma in Accounting, Purchasing and supply chain management or related field from a recognized Technical University
2. Evidenced expertise in microfinance or related financial service with three (3) years working experience
3. Clear-cut knowledge of rural economic environment and microfinance principles
4. Exceptional analytical skills
5. Knowledge of T-24 Banking software

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prospecting for new clients, community entry and formation of new groups for future loan disbursement.
2. Daily loan monitoring and tracking, field visitation and loan recovery.
3. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
4. Strong knowledge in various credit reporting applications and guidelines.
5. Carry out any other official duties as may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

1. Have a high standard of personal integrity and professional ethical standards.
2. Must be a team player, be flexible and ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment.
3. Be innovative and must have the ability to generate creative ideas for improvement of the microfinance programmed of the bank.
4. Be a result – oriented and must be able to work under pressure.
5. High proficiency in the use of the MS Office Applications ie Word, Excel etc.
6. Ability to ride a motorbike.
